As part of my new involvement on the USA Cycling Collegiate Cycling Board of Trustees I was featured in a “Meet The Board” section of the November collegiate cycling newsletter. It turned out pretty nice and has a few pictures and it’s pretty cool since it’s e-mailed to most of the collegiate cycling conferences and teams across the country as well as posted on the USA Cycling website.
USA Cycling also has the newsletter as one of the three main news stories that rotates through on the collegiate cycling homepage and of all the pictures in the newsletter they chose an action shot of me from elite track nationals. So yeah that’s pretty cool. The photo is courtesy of Mike Gladu and is from the points race final. The guy behind me is Dan Hollaway (Garmin-Slipstream in ‘09 and Bissell for 2010) and we were going for one of the first sprints. I beat him that time but I think he was content to sit on my whee lfor that sprint and he definitely finished better than I did in the race so yeah.
Still it’s a cool photo and even cooler that by chance it and I am getting a tiny bit o’ publicity. Hey, I’ll take what I can get…I kinda have to.

Thanks for reading… and for all those that have and continue to help me in so many ways. There are many of you.
