Andrew Armstrong began racing bikes in 2002 when he entered two races during his freshman year at Boston College. He continued racing on the Boston College Cycling Team throughout college. He served as treasurer and team leader for the BC team for three years and competed at Collegiate Road Nationals in May of 2005. He also graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Theology and History. He taught Junior level theology at Jesuit College Preparatory in Dallas, Texas for two years. Currently Andrew is a full time bike racer who also volunteers as coach of the Jesuit cycling team and director of The Texas High School Cycling League.
Andrew did not begin racing track until June of 2004 when he took a development class at the Frisco Superdrome when home for summer break.
